Playing with the Liberty of the Seas Orchestra

Part of my job as an Orchestra musician on the Liberty of the Seas included playing a show at the beginning of each cruise called “The Welcome Aboard Show.” It was a sort of variety show and it opened with the orchestra playing “Sing Sing Sing” and featured a drum solo by yours truly. Suffice it to say that each week the solos got just a little bit more ridiculous.


Drum-Off 2011

In the Fall of 2011, I competed in Guitar Center’s “Drum-Off,” a nation-wide drum solo competition. Here’s my performance in the district finals in Seattle, Washington.

Cajon Playing with Joe Powers

I had the privilege of performing on the cajon with harmonica virtuoso Joe Powers and master tango pianist Naoko Aoki at Beall Concert Hall. Here we play tango classic “El Esquinazo.”
